1r-tec G24 Universal Control Board
G24 was built to run r-tec’s 24 V DC garden and swing gate motor family from a single board. Common models such as KING 524F / Couper 24 / Prince 24 / Jet 24 arrive with their scenarios pre-defined, so the dealer can commission a job in the field quickly — without hunting for a separate board per motor.
Highlight features
- Single-board, multi-motor selection via LCD screen
- Programmable soft start and soft stop
- Automatic closing timer
- Limit switch + encoder reading support
- Bluetooth module option (mobile parameter reading)

Installation and Commissioning
The G-24 universal control board runs according to the connected motor type, so correct commissioning starts with defining that type. General flow:
- Supply and motor connection: The board supply and motor leads are connected to the terminals; connections are checked before power is applied.
- Motor type selection: The door type (circular, barrier, sliding, sectional) is selected with the BT2 button and confirmed from the motor-type LED (Led 5) on the board.
- Direction and limits: If the door moves the wrong way on an open command, the direction DIP switch corrects it; the limits are then learned at the open and closed ends.
- Motor power: If travel is weak, the motor-power trimpot is adjusted in small steps (on the G-24 the trimpot increases clockwise and decreases counter-clockwise).
- Remote and safety: The remote control is paired and safety accessories such as photocells and signal lamps are connected.
All parameter settings must be made only by trained personnel, per the values in the model guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below we've compiled the most common questions and answers regarding this product.
On the GATE 24 control board the door moves only a little when the button is pressed — what should I do?
The motor power trimpot (T1) may be set too low; increase T1 in steps (on the GATE 24 board the trimpot increases clockwise and decreases counter-clockwise). If it still does not open with the trimpot at maximum, there may be mechanical binding. Trimpot adjustment must only be done by trained personnel, within the range in the model guide.
On the GATE 24 board the other LEDs are lit but the processor LED is off?
The processor may have gone into self-protection after a momentary voltage fluctuation. Cut the power, wait until all board LEDs go off, then re-apply power (reset). If the processor LED still does not light and the board does not respond, the microprocessor has failed and the board must be assessed or replaced by authorized service.
