Versatile sectional door systems with industrial, garage and full vision models — high insulation, durability and wide-opening throughput solutions.
A sectional door is an industrial door system made of horizontal panels (sections) that fold up parallel to the ceiling as it opens. Because it takes no space to the sides or front, it preserves valuable floor area at factory, warehouse, logistics, car-park and garage entrances. NORMTOR by Alkur sectional doors use a 40 mm polyurethane-filled sandwich panel for thermal insulation, quiet operation and long service life.
Four criteria stand out: opening dimensions (clear width × height), usage intensity (the daily cycle count affects spring and motor life), insulation needs (cold storage vs. standard warehouse) and visibility (glazed panels for showrooms, full panels for industrial sites). The NORMTOR sectional door family is offered in three types:
All three series come ready for automation with r-tec industrial motors and control units. To choose the most suitable type and size for your project together, you can request a site survey and measurement.
Below we've compiled the most common questions and answers regarding this product.
The total cost is driven by the clear opening dimensions (width × height), panel thickness and surface, insulation class, motor power and the automation accessories you choose. Rather than a fixed price list, every project is calculated to measure. For a precise, project-specific quote you can request a free site survey and measurement.
NORMTOR Industrial is engineered for factory and warehouse openings, high cycle frequency and EN 13241-1 wind and water classes. NORMTOR Garage is optimised for residential, housing-estate and car-park entrances. Both series share the same sandwich-panel technology; the difference lies in opening size, usage frequency and hardware class.
A wide range of width and height combinations can be produced, from residential garages to large industrial openings. The correct series and panel height are determined from the clear on-site measurement, which is why a pre-project survey matters.
NORMTOR panels are produced with a 40 mm polyurethane core and offer a clear advantage in thermal insulation and noise reduction over single-skin doors. For high-insulation applications such as cold storage, the panel and seal selection is adjusted accordingly.
Sectional doors come ready for automation with r-tec industrial motors and control units. The motor is selected according to the door weight, opening size and daily cycle count; safety accessories such as photocells, signal lamps and remote controls can be added.
