Overview
GYK-92 SY is the member of the r-tec industrial control portfolio that steps outside the standard mould — its niche application unit. The GYK abbreviation stands for “Underground-Floor Door”, so it targets special door types such as underground garage entrances, car park vehicle lift covers and large-clearance underground transit. In these applications the standard industrial sectional motor (I-380) falls short because of mechanical geometry incompatibility; GYK-92 SY answers with special timing, an added safety layer and a digital display that makes field diagnostics possible.

Why a special application?
In Underground-Floor Door scenarios, 3 main differences:
- Mechanical geometry — The standard sectional door moves on horizontal rails; GYK generally requires a vertical + horizontal combination or fully vertical movement.
- Safety layer — Underground or vehicle lift cover; high risk of falling + containing vehicles during closing.
- Frequency + cycle — Car park vehicle lift cover hundreds of cycles per day; fatigue margin is critical.
GYK-92 SY solves these three needs in a single complex control board.
Digital display + LED diagnostics
In standard industrial control boards (220-K, 380A, I-380), error reporting is limited — a red LED illuminates, and the cause of the error is found from the PDF manual by code. In GYK-92 SY:
- Digital display shows parameters and error code directly.
- Colour-coded LED diagnostics — green OK / yellow warning / red error; colour gradation instantly notifies the operation status.
- Field diagnostics — The technician identifies the fault by looking at the screen without opening the PDF.
This shortens service time in applications such as GYK with heavy use + low fault tolerance.

Field discipline
- Error codes and reset procedures are listed in the PDF appendix pages. The site technician must read the PDF appendix section — there is a different reset procedure than standard industrial control boards.
- Mechanical suitability — The board, motor and door geometry are specifically calculated for the site; does not fit directly into a standard industrial door.
- Safety chain — In underground / vehicle lift applications, a 2-3 photocell channel + safety strip + emergency stop combination is mandatory.
- Heavy-use maintenance — Every 3-6 months periodic maintenance (every 12 months on standard doors); wear margin is low.

Error codes and reset procedures are listed in the PDF appendix pages. GYK-92 SY is recommended after a site survey from our dealers; for standard industrial door control, 220-K, I-380 or 380A are more appropriate.
