With ISO 45001 we demonstrate that our occupational health and safety management system is structured within an international framework. Risk assessment, training, incident reporting and preventive measures — including the production facility in Hendek / Sakarya and field installation — are brought together under a single management system.

A system integrated with operations

OHS management is inseparable from quality processes; sources of hazard are identified in advance during order, production planning and customer projects, and the requirements of employees and subcontractors are taken into account. Annual surveillance audits monitor the validity of the certificate, and a three-year re-certification cycle preserves the system’s continuity.

From the field installation and service team perspective

In industrial door and loading system installations, hazard categories such as working at height, mechanical energy, trapping and electrical risks are recorded. Teams go to the site within the framework of personal protective equipment, work permit and risk analysis protocols; every incident (including near-miss) is reported and enters the process improvement cycle. This discipline, together with the zero work-accident target, also protects the operational continuity of the customer facility.

Scope and purpose

The conformity of our quality management system to the ISO 9001:2015 standard is documented by an independent audit. Customer requirements — from order to production and after-sales support — are managed with the Plan–Do–Check–Act cycle; records and improvement actions are monitored regularly.

Alignment with our field of activity

The certified activity covers the execution of design, production, supply and service processes for sectional doors, panels, HPVC, loading systems and r-tec automation products in alignment with the corporate quality policy. The validity of the certificate is maintained through annual surveillance audits; the integrity of the system is re-evaluated at the re-certification audit conducted every three years.

Scope

The Domestic Product Certificate is the official document issued by TOBB and its affiliated chambers within the framework of the domestic contribution rate calculation criteria of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. It provides a domestic product procurement incentive in public procurement.

What it means for NORMTOR

The NORMTOR sectional door product family is evaluated under domestic product status with a domestic contribution rate of 64.57%. This certificate is of critical importance in terms of domestic-product priority in public tenders, state incentives and alignment with national industrial policies.

Domestic contribution components

We produce the panel, roll-form profile, sheet metal construction and mechanical components at our own facility; we source aluminium and EPDM components from our domestic suppliers. The domestic contribution rate is calculated according to the TOBB methodology based on the distribution of production input costs to Turkish-origin sources and is verified by the relevant chamber audit.

Public tender impact

The Domestic Product Certificate, under the articles of the Public Procurement Law that incentivise domestic product supply, makes it possible to give priority to the domestic product under equal technical conditions. The certificate is also among the proofs required for priority supplier status in large infrastructure projects and state-incentivised industrial investments.

Scope

The CE Declaration of Conformity is the official document in which the manufacturer declares that its product complies with the relevant EU directives (Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Construction Products Regulation 305/2011, Low-Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU).

What it means for NORMTOR

This declaration we issue for our NORMTOR industrial and garage sectional doors documents our responsibility for the free circulation of the product in the EU internal market and its full compliance with European standards. The declaration is the principal legal basis for the CE mark on the product label.

Declaration scope

The published declaration includes mandatory elements such as the manufacturer’s identity, the unique identifier of the product, the applied harmonised standards (EN 13241, EN 12604, EN 12453), notified body information and a reference to the risk assessment. A separate technical file is kept for each hardware variation of the door (size, motor selection, automatic control board, safety components) and can be presented to the authorities upon customer request.

From the customer and audit perspective

The CE declaration is a standard proof of conformity in exports to the EU market and in the acceptance audits of large customers. The document set delivered together with the product includes the declaration, user manual and maintenance plan.

Scope

The registration of the name r-tec as a trademark provides legal protection of the brand in the communication of automation products, control equipment and related software/hardware. The correct use of the brand on product labels, catalogues and digital channels is bound to this framework.

Relationship to the portfolio

r-tec is the product brand that carries the automation range within Alkur Kapı Sistemleri A.Ş.; together with ALKUR, NORMPANEL, NORMTOR and NORMDOCK it is part of our multi-brand structure. Registration strengthens the brand’s distinctiveness in the market and customer trust.

Registration class and protection

The r-tec brand is protected at the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in the relevant classes (automation, electronic control, door motors and EV charger product categories). Registration ensures that the brand is used with its original spelling (lowercase + hyphen: r-tec) on product labels, catalogues, packaging, digital communications and fair / event promotional materials.

Authorised use and oversight

The brand is used only on products manufactured by Alkur Kapı Sistemleri A.Ş. and sold through the approved dealer network. Legal rights are reserved in cases of brand imitation or misleading presentation; the necessary processes are pursued at the Turkish Patent Office for unauthorised use within this scope.

Scope

The EAC (Eurasian Conformity) mark is the mandatory conformity certificate required for product circulation in the Eurasian Economic Union markets (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan). It demonstrates compliance with TR CU standards.

What it means for ALKUR HPVC

With this certificate, it is documented that our ALKUR Rapid PVC door product family can be exported directly to Eurasian markets. For applications such as food and pharmaceutical cold chains, automotive production lines and logistics warehouses, our HPVC solutions can be offered to the Eurasian market without any additional customs barrier.

Certificate scope

The EAC certificate covers an audit of the production facility by an accredited body, product sample tests and a technical file review. The performance parameters verified for the ALKUR HPVC family include panel resistance, transit speed, motor safety response and the compliance of electrical components with the TR CU 020/2011 low-voltage directive.

Market context

Our HPVC door family is suitable for applications that require hygiene and temperature control, such as dairy, meat and pharmaceutical production and the automotive supply chain. In these markets, the EAC mark forms a standard proof of conformity in facility acceptance audits and customs processes.

Scope

The EAC (Eurasian Conformity) mark is the mandatory conformity certificate required for product circulation in the Eurasian Economic Union markets, including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. It demonstrates compliance with TR CU (Customs Union Technical Regulation) standards.

What it means for NORMTOR

This certificate shows that the NORMTOR sectional door product family can be exported directly to Eurasian markets. In markets such as Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia, our NORMTOR solutions for logistics facilities, production hangars and commercial buildings can be sold without any additional customs barrier.

EAC certification covers the audit of the production facility by an accredited conformity assessment body, product sample tests and a technical file review. The EAC mark on the product is proof of compliance with the Eurasian Economic Union’s TR CU technical regulations for importers and end users.

Scope

The TSE Service Competence Certificate demonstrates that the services offered to the customer — such as installation, commissioning, maintenance and after-sales technical support — are carried out in accordance with the TS 12558 standard and internal procedures. It covers authorised service for the door, barrier and automation products under the ALKUR umbrella and has been renewed continuously since 2015.

Service scope

The services monitored under the certificate include: pre-delivery survey and dimension verification, installation and commissioning, user training, periodic maintenance contracts, fault response and spare-parts supply. Our service calls are recorded through the customer call centre; the teams’ work orders, customer-signed acceptance forms and photographic closing reports are systematically archived.

From the customer and project perspective

A single standard of service quality is targeted in the field for door, loading system and automation projects; teams are structured by training and role definitions. The certificate is used as the official service competence proof frequently requested in public and private sector tender specifications.

Geographic coverage

Authorised service coordination is provided through the central team and the trained dealer network across Türkiye; in international projects, technical support is delivered through e-mail and remote connection channels. The TSE certificate is the independent verification of this service quality framework.

Scope

The EN 13241-1 standard defines the European Union’s fundamental performance requirements for industrial, commercial and garage-purpose door products. Mechanical resistance, air and water tightness, thermal insulation, acoustic performance and usage safety parameters are documented through independent laboratory tests.

What it means for NORMTOR

The NORMTOR sectional door family has passed inspections by SP Sweden and TÜV NORD CERT and received a performance certificate at the Class 2 / Class 3 level. This certificate also carries the title of Turkey’s first CE-certified domestic-panel sectional door (2013). It is the principal proof of conformity in exports to the European market and in public/private sector tenders.

Test parameters

The standout performance values verified under the certificate include: R’w 26 dB acoustic insulation for the 40 mm sandwich panel, U=0.604 W/m²K thermal transmittance, Class 2 / Class 3 air and water tightness, mechanical durability cycles, and the profile geometry that prevents finger trapping during vertical movement. These parameters are usual performance requirements in cold chain, pharmaceutical production and high-traffic logistics facilities.

Scope

The TÜV NORD CERT certificate shows that the German-origin independent certification body has tested and approved the product’s compliance with European standards in mechanical resistance, transit speed, insulation and safety parameters.

What it means for ALKUR HPVC

ALKUR’s title of Turkey’s first domestic HPVC door manufacturer was announced with this certificate (2009). The certificate confirms the European-quality production discipline of our HPVC door family — offered with 900 g/m² PVC fabric, a Ø140 aluminium drum and 5 RAPID motor options. It serves as a conformity reference for export projects in food, pharmaceutical, automotive and logistics applications.

Test and verification scope

The TÜV NORD CERT audit covers a review of the production facility’s quality system, product sample tests (transit speed, closing force, panel resistance) and a risk assessment. The metre-per-second opening speed of the ALKUR HPVC family, the impact-protected safety system and the long service life of PVC fabric under high transit frequency are the main performance parameters verified under the certificate.

Sectoral application

The ALKUR HPVC door family is designed for cold-chain logistics, pharmaceutical and food production lines, automotive assembly facilities and rapid transitions between different temperature zones.
