Parties and acceptance
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the use of the alkur.com.tr website (the “Site”) operated by Alkur Kapı Sistemleri Anonim Şirketi (the “Company”, “Alkur”). Any natural or legal person (“User”) who accesses or uses the Site is deemed to have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Site.
Purpose and content of the Site
The Site provides promotional and informational content about Alkur’s products, brands, manufacturing capabilities, certificates, events and corporate information. The Site is not an online sales (e-commerce) platform; no direct ordering, payment or distance-sales transaction is carried out on it. Quotation, measurement/survey and contact requests submitted through the Site are preliminary applications for commercial evaluation.
Intellectual property rights
All content on the Site — texts, images, videos, technical drawings, catalogues, logos, brand names (including ALKUR, NORMTOR, NORMPANEL, NORMDOCK and r-tec), design and software — belongs to Alkur or the respective rights holders and is protected by intellectual and industrial property law. This content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, used commercially or republished on another medium without the Company’s prior written consent. Viewing the pages and citing them with attribution for personal, non-commercial purposes within ordinary use of the Site is an exception to this restriction.
Conditions of use
The User agrees to use the Site only in accordance with the law, rules of good faith and these Terms. In particular, the User shall not:
- engage in actions that jeopardise the security, integrity or availability of the Site (unauthorised access, excessive automated requests / “scraping”, uploading malware, etc.);
- collect, scrape or reverse-engineer Site content without permission;
- transmit content that infringes third-party rights or that is misleading, unlawful or harmful;
- misuse the contact and quotation forms, or apply with false information or information belonging to others.
Quotation and contact forms
Requests submitted through the contact, quotation and measurement/survey forms on the Site do not constitute a binding sales contract or offer; they are received solely so that the Company can evaluate the request and contact you. Price, delivery time, technical specifications and other commercial terms are finalised by a separate written quotation and/or contract. Personal data you share through the forms is processed within the framework of the KVKK Privacy Notice and the Cookie Policy.
AI-assisted assistant
Where an AI-assisted digital assistant (text and/or voice) is offered on the Site, this assistant is an automated information and routing tool; its responses are for general information, do not replace professional engineering, legal or commercial advice, and do not create a binding commitment. The final technical and commercial assessment is made by the Company’s staff. Personal data processed through the assistant (including written and audio records) is described in the KVKK Privacy Notice.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites and services such as r-tec.com.tr, video platforms (e.g. YouTube), map services (e.g. Google Maps) and social media accounts. These links are provided only for convenience; the Company is not responsible for the content, privacy practices or services of those third parties. Those platforms’ own terms of use and privacy policies apply.
Limitation of liability
Site content is provided “as is”. The Company takes reasonable care for the accuracy, currency and completeness of the content; however, technical specifications, product range, images and documents may change without prior notice and do not constitute a binding offer. The values forming the basis of production and installation are separately confirmed in writing for each project. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, inability to use, possible interruptions of the Site, or decisions taken in reliance on the content.
Protection of personal data
For detailed information on the processing of your personal data, please see the KVKK Privacy Notice, and for the use of cookies and similar technologies, the Cookie Policy. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read the practices described in those texts.
Changes to the Terms
The Company may update these Terms in line with legal requirements or changes to its services. The current version is always published on this page; appropriate notice may be given for significant changes. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the new Terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Turkish law applies to the interpretation and application of these Terms. The Istanbul Anatolian Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes that may arise from these Terms.
