Our approach: documents, not slogans
This page presents production practices we can document and characteristics stated in product documents. We do not publish measured building-wide energy savings or carbon reductions; we will update the page as we compile energy, waste and recycling data.
Environmental contribution through the product
A door manufacturer’s environmental impact shows most in the work its products do in the field:
- Panel insulation: The REV04 English panel line in the NORMTOR industrial specification prints 0,604 k (W/m²). Because the unit is unclear, this number is not presented as a confirmed panel or whole-door U-value; the current manufacturer declaration and project perimeter sealing must be verified separately.
- Time spent open: The ALKUR folding and roll-up high-speed PVC-door specifications state up to 1.5 m/s with the inverter option. Actual passage time and any energy effect depend on door dimensions, traffic and site conditions.
- Loading-bay opening: A NORMDOCK dock shelter is designed to cover the gap between a vehicle and the building. Its specification does not provide a measured temperature-loss or energy-saving figure for a particular site.
- Maintenance and repair: Spare-part and repair options are assessed for each model. The 100,000-cycle option in the NORMTOR catalogue applies to the torsion spring; it does not guarantee the life of the complete door or a fixed support period for every model.
People and occupational safety
- Our occupational health and safety management system is certified to ISO 45001; processes on the production floor run within this framework.
- The safety equipment of our products — photocells, finger-safe geometry, cable-break detectors, anti-fall devices — serves human safety in the field every day.
- Technical documentation and training material are provided by us as the manufacturer, so that authorized technical teams can work correctly and safely.
Governance and certification discipline
We track our production and management processes through ISO 9001:2015, product-scope EN 13241-1 documentation and other applicable conformity records. Our certificates page clearly distinguishes current documents from copies retained for historical verification; the TSE Service Competence copy, for example, expired on 25 June 2026.
