Our approach: documents, not slogans
Most sustainability pages open with big promises. We chose to start from the other end: this page contains only the practices we can document and the measurable contributions of our products. As we compile our energy, waste and recycling data, this page will grow with the same honesty.

Environmental contribution through the product
A door manufacturer’s environmental impact shows most in the work its products do in the field:
- Insulation that cuts heat loss: The 40 mm polyurethane-filled panel of NORMTOR industrial sectional doors delivers a thermal transmittance of U ≈ 0.604 W/m²K; EPDM seals stay flexible down to -30 °C, preserving tightness. In any heated or cooled facility, that is a contribution written directly onto the energy bill.
- Climate protected by speed: ALKUR high-speed PVC doors shorten passage time with an opening speed of 1.5 m/s on the inverter-driven model — every second a door stays open is climate-control energy lost.
- A buffer zone for the cold chain: NORMDOCK dock shelters form a semi-enclosed zone between vehicle and building, reducing temperature loss during loading.
- Long life, late waste: Spare-part continuity (model support for 15+ years), 100,000-cycle spring options and repairable design make “maintain and keep” possible instead of “replace when broken”. The greenest product is the one that becomes waste last.

People and occupational safety
- Our occupational health and safety management system is certified to ISO 45001; processes on the production floor run within this framework.
- The safety equipment of our products — photocells, finger-safe geometry, cable-break detectors, anti-fall devices — serves human safety in the field every day.
- Technical documentation and training material are provided by us as the manufacturer, so that authorized technical teams can work correctly and safely.
Governance and certification discipline
Our production and management processes run on independently audited certificates: ISO 9001:2015 quality management, CE conformity under EN 13241-1, the TSE Service Competence and Domestic Goods certificates. Current copies of all documents are published on our certificates page; our quality approach is written out in our quality policy. Personal data processes are run within the KVKK framework.

Roadmap
Next up: compiling our production facility’s energy consumption and waste management data and publishing it on this page. We measure before we promise — that is this page’s rule.
