r-tec RAPID 85 is a shaft-driven operator for high-speed PVC doors. Its technical table lists a 380 V operating supply, 85 Nm torque and 90 rpm motor speed. It has mechanical limit switches and a crank mechanism for manual operation.
Control and door speed
The motor technical table does not specify a pairing with an FU or I-380 board. The FU manual describes soft start and soft stop for that control unit, while the trimpot in the I-380 manual sets a current limit. Those documents alone do not establish an approved RAPID 85 pairing or an equivalent speed profile.
The 90 rpm figure is motor shaft speed. Linear door opening speed, maximum door dimensions and cooling savings cannot be derived from the motor table. Before specifying or installing a system, verify the door geometry, motor-board pairing and controller settings against current manufacturer-approved records.

Which control board can be used with RAPID 85?
The RAPID 85 technical table gives 380 V, 85 Nm and 90 rpm motor data but does not name an FU or I-380 pairing. Board selection requires the manufacturer's approved motor-board pairing and commissioning settings.

Do 85 Nm and 90 rpm specify the door opening speed?
No. They are motor torque and shaft speed. The technical table gives no linear door speed, maximum door size or energy saving. Verify those figures for the selected door, transmission and control configuration.
