r-tec Function Selector Remote

Overview

r-tec Function Selector Remote is a wall-mounted multi-mode selector panel for automatic doors, barriers and premium industrial doors. It enables operators to adjust door behaviour in different scenarios such as mall business hours, night security, emergency with the standard 5-modes (open standby / partial opening / one-way exit / automatic run / closed standby). It plugs into the control unit via connector and requires no separate wiring. Standard accessory of the R2 control board.

→ Thanks to the Function Selector, an interface managing the daily routine with a single selector instead of manual key/button combination.

Key locking

The panel is locked with a key — unauthorised personnel cannot change mode:

• Shop staff can only see, cannot change without key
• Manager/owner changes mode with key
• Multiple key copies if needed our dealers supply

Multi-door management (premium variant)

The premium variant can control 4 doors via a single selector:

• Shop in mall — Front door + back service + warehouse door + emergency exit (single panel)
• Hospital — Main entrance + operating theatre + ICU + emergency entrance
• Hotel — Lobby + restaurant + spa + pool area

The LCD screen displays each door’s current mode in a separate line; door is selected with a single button, mode changed with buttons.

Field discipline

• Mode change speed — Door behaviour changes within max 5 sec after new mode selected
• Key storage — With authorised personnel + backup at dealer; lost key = panel removal + new key
• LED visibility — Active mode LED visible in dark environment; critical for night use
• Connection cable length — Max 30 m distance to control board (24 V DC voltage loss)
• Periodic test — Each mode manually tested monthly (by operator)
• Premium LCD maintenance — LCD screen wiped once every 12 months; replacement item in case of screen failure
