In industrial door, barrier and dock leveler systems, the button panel provides manual control from the wall as an alternative to the remote control. Preferred in industrial facilities where the operator location is fixed. With the Open / Close / Stop buttons, the operator manages the door movement directly and clearly; the large red mushroom-head emergency button stops the movement instantly in case of danger.

Where and how is the button panel mounted?
The panel carries three buttons (open, close, stop) and connects to the control board through a 24 V contact; it can be surface or flush mounted. Two rules govern the position: the operator must be able to see the whole door while pressing, and the panel must sit outside the door's path of travel. A command given without sight of the door is a risky way to work even with safety equipment fitted. With an IP54 rating it can be used in dusty production areas and in sheltered outdoor positions. The stop button does not take the place of an emergency stop; that is a separate safety device.
