r-tec Battery Kit (Backup Power)

The r-tec Battery Kit appears as an optional battery connection in the automatic-door technical manual. The manual documents its connection to terminals 5–6 of K1 on the control board and describes the b1 battery parameter. It does not list compatibility with other motor or control-board families.

Documented connection and behaviour

The b1 table defines 00 = Open and Wait and 01 = Continue to operate; it lists 00 as the factory setting. Check the installed board setting and test the system to confirm the actual behaviour.

Values the document does not provide

The linked Turkish and English PDFs give no battery voltage, chemistry, capacity, charging current, cycle count or backup operating time. Accordingly, a 7 Ah or 12 Ah option, an expected cycle count or compatibility with another product family is not presented here as a confirmed specification. The approved documents for the exact battery and connected motor/board models are needed to size the installation.

Because the PDF marks the battery optional, it does not impose a universal requirement for hospitals, airports or barriers. Assess backup-power needs for the project and connected system.
