Overview
SL 600F represents the 24 V side of the SL series — a 600 kg class compact sliding motor that brings together the series’ familiar slim body and battery backup compatibility. Where it really shines is narrow-mount sites: residential garden gates and villa entrances where a standard-width motor simply cannot fit next to the door body. In capacity terms it sits one class above KING 524F (500 kg).
Why compact 24 V?
The intersection of two needs:
- Battery backup compatibility — Residential/villa where power outage is critical.
- Narrow installation area — A standard KING (17 kg) motor does not fit next to the door body.
At this intersection, SL 600F is the only practical solution. SL 500 (220 V AC) does not provide battery backup; KING 524F is not compact.
SL 600F vs KING 524F
| SL 600F | KING 524F | |
|---|---|---|
| Max. door weight | 600 kg | 500 kg |
| Body | Compact SL | Standard KING |
| Battery compatibility | Available | Available |
| Site flexibility | Narrow space friendly | Wide connection |
| Profile | Compact | Standard |
→ SL 600F is always recommended for narrow installations; KING 524F offers a long-life margin at sites with a standard connection area.
Target projects
- Residential garden gate (narrow next to the door body)
- Villa main entrance gate (aesthetic compact motor preference)
- Eco-villa + solar-powered system (24 V natural)
- Estate internal additional entrance gates (backup/side)
Field discipline
- Thanks to the compact body, it fits into narrow areas, but the gear cover sealing is critical — dust and moisture enter through a loose cover.
- A 24 V 7-12 Ah battery is recommended; typical 30-40 open-close cycles with 7 Ah, 50-70 open-close cycles tolerance during power outage with 12 Ah.
- The T1 motor power trimpot must be calibrated according to the door weight; if a 600 kg class motor runs at high power on a 300 kg door, light door wheels fatigue.
- In compact body applications, verify the installation clearance from the dimension form.
Model notes
The G24 control board is mandatory on 24 V DC models. For heavier doors (over 600 kg) Hatti 1200-HS can be evaluated.

How do you choose between SL 600F and KING 524F?
Both use a 24 V DC motor with the G24 control unit, and both offer optional battery backup. What separates them is capacity and body: the SL 600F meets the 600 kg class in the compact SL body, while the KING 524F meets the 500 kg class in the KING body. Where the space for the motor is tight, the SL body has the advantage. If the leaf weight falls between the two classes, take the higher one; running at the limit uses up the motor's thermal headroom.
