Overview
Among the 1,000 kg class 220 V AC sliding motors, KING 1000 is the familiar middle-segment starting point. At estates, villas, office campuses and plaza entrances it keeps running for years, even under the heavy duty of 50-100 open-close cycles a day. With 400 W of motor power and a 16 cm/s travel speed, it carries a door of up to 1,000 kg across a 4 m opening in 6-8 seconds.

KING 1000 is the most common 220 V choice in the cost/performance balance; KING 2000 is overpowered for heavier doors, the lower-segment 24 V series is preferable for battery-backed scenarios.

Field discipline
- Rail parallelism must be checked before site trial; on an uneven rail, the 10 kg motor is strained and thermal protection trips early.
- The electronic brake trimpot must be adjusted according to the door weight — when the door reaches the limit switch it should stop, it should not move backwards.
- Oil + dust retention in the field — start-of-month light lubrication maintenance on the ball wheel and gear.

Model notes
The KING 1000 motor type is 230 VAC (not DC) — no additional inverter or FU unit required. For the 24 V DC version, KING 524F (24 V × 500 kg class) is preferred. When the door weight approaches 1,000 kg, KING 2000 (750 W) is recommended; at the limit, a site trial is carried out between two products.

What is the difference between KING 1000 and KING 2000 when both use a 400 W motor?
The motor body, power (400 W), current draw (1.3 A) and speed (16 cm/s) are the same on both models; the difference is in the mechanical reduction and the resulting duty class. KING 1000 is rated for leaves up to 1 000 kg and KING 2000 up to 2 000 kg. Selection therefore follows leaf weight rather than the power figure. Where two doors of the same weight differ in how often they run, moving up a model gives the motor more thermal headroom.

Can this model be used when the leaf weight is close to the 1 000 kg limit?
Working near the limit is not recommended. The catalogue figure is the upper bound the motor can carry continuously, and to the leaf weight you must add track friction, any gradient and the extra resistance in winter conditions. Where the measured weight is above 900 kg, or the door runs many cycles a day, choose KING 2000. The thermal protection in the motor winding cuts the circuit on overheating, but that is a last resort rather than design margin, so selection should not lean on it.
