Overview
Think of JET 24 as the muscled-up COUPER 24: it builds on the same articulated-arm mechanism architecture, but a 120 W motor (vs COUPER 24’s 85 W) and a different gear ratio push capacity up to 3 m of leaf and 600 kg of heavy door (COUPER 24 is limited to 2 m / 250 kg). Its high-speed step runs at 1.3 / 2.0 cm/s — 25% faster than COUPER 24’s 1.3 / 1.6 cm/s.
Why JET 24?
| Scenario | Recommended |
|---|---|
| Residential garden gate, light (≤ 250 kg) | COUPER 24 |
| Heavy door (250-600 kg) + up to 3 m | JET 24 ✓ |
| Wide leaf (up to 4 m) | PRINCE 24 |
| Single-phase 220 V installation | SW2 |
JET 24 uses the same site geometry (A-E dimensions) and the same G24 control board as COUPER; thanks to hardware compatibility, the COUPER→JET upgrade is easy at the same site (motor change only).
Target projects
- Premium villa main entrance gate (frequent use)
- Hotel / boutique accommodation private entrance (guest flow important)
- Restaurant VIP entrance (peak-hour traffic)
- Backup/side entrance gate (quick access priority)
- Premium villa complex pedestrian + vehicle combined entrance
Field discipline
- Speed + trapping risk — Faster closing increases trapping risk; two photocell channels (opening + closing) must be connected mandatorily.
- Brake adjustment — In site trial the braking distance must be checked; hard landing accelerates fatigue on the motor bearing and hinges.
- Hinge quality — Sprung or well-bearing hinges are mandatory for fast movement; old/stiff hinges do not work.
- Double-leaf synchronisation — Two JET 24 motors are driven in a double-leaf system with the G24-MTS module; sync limit setting is critical.
- Periodic maintenance — For heavy use, every 6 months hinge lubrication + reducer check (12 months on COUPER).
Model notes
Select the arm force and open speed parameters according to the table in the PDF. Because JET 24 contains a stronger motor winding, the G24 control board version must be compatible (dealer configuration confirms). The standard COUPER 24 board may run JET marginally; specialised drive electronics are required.
In which sectors is it used?
This product family is preferred in the sectors and application areas below.
- Villa and detached house garden

- Residential complex entrance
Frequently Asked Questions
Below we've compiled the most common questions and answers regarding this product.
-
JET 24 and LINEAR 400 are both 120 W with a 3 m leaf, so why do capacities differ?
What separates them is not motor power but arm mechanics. JET 24 works with a fast articulated arm and pushes the leaf on a lever close to the hinge; that arrangement makes carrying up to 600 kg possible. LINEAR 400 is a piston (linear actuator) type, applying force linearly along the leaf, and is rated in the 400 kg class. Both cover a 3 m leaf length, so the choice follows weight and setback geometry: the piston fits narrow setbacks, the articulated arm a standard one.
-
What does giving the speed as 1.3 and 2.0 cm/s mean?
The two values are speeds in different parts of the cycle: the leaf slows to 1.3 cm/s as it approaches the open and closed ends and travels at 2.0 cm/s in between. This deceleration matters on a swing leaf, because the linear speed of the leaf edge rises the further it sits from the hinge, and the stopping impact grows with it. The deceleration points are recorded during the learning procedure on the G24 control unit. Where COUPER 24 tops out at 1.6 cm/s, JET reaching 2.0 cm/s shortens waiting time on frequently used entrances.
