Model and document scope
LINEAR 40024 is a 24 V DC swing-gate operator with a straight-travel actuator. The Turkish technical table in its shared Turkish/English manual lists 120 W, a maximum 3 m leaf and 400 kg gate weight. It also gives motor dimensions of 820 × 100 × 110 mm, motor weight 7 kg, IP44 and an operating range of −20 °C to +55 °C. Keep these values with the LINEAR 40024 model and the relevant manual revision.
Speed-unit conflict in the source
The Turkish table in the same PDF prints the speed unit as m/sec, while the English table prints cm/sec. Both give the figures 1.6 / 2.0, but the units differ, so this page does not publish a definitive speed or an opening time derived from it. Confirm the unit with a current manufacturer data sheet before comparing speeds or calculating a project cycle.
Motor and G24 board
The manual treats the actuator table and G24 control board as separate technical records. The G24 section describes two photocell inputs, obstacle detection, an optional second-motor driver board and accessory connections. Those board capabilities do not mean the accessories are built into the LINEAR 400 motor or included in every delivery. Verify the proposed board, modules and wiring set for battery support and single- or double-leaf operation.
Installation and service
Assess actual leaf length and weight together with hinges, actuator mounting points and site geometry. The PDF does not establish one suitable strut clearance for every site or a 12-month liquid-grease schedule for the piston. A qualified team should use current instructions matched to the exact operator and board revision for installation and limit learning, and obtain the maintenance interval from that source.

Some capacity or performance values differ between the available local documents. Do not select the model from a single disputed figure. Match the model label to a current manufacturer document before installation, then verify leaf weight, dimensions and duty on site.

How do the LINEAR 400 and PRINCE 400 mechanisms differ?
LINEAR uses a piston actuator; PRINCE uses an extending telescopic arm. Mounting geometry and leaf construction guide the choice. Verify each model’s load limits separately against current manufacturer documents.
