NORMTOR Industrial Sectional: Portrait of the Flagship

Every product range has a reference point; the model the others measure themselves against. Ours is the NORMTOR industrial sectional door: the sum of more than thirty years of experience on the dispatch facades of factories, warehouses and logistics terminals.

The panel: A summary in four numbers

The door’s body is a 40 mm sandwich panel: a 40 kg/m³ polyurethane core between two steel skins. The REV04 English panel line prints 0.604 k (W/m²). The unit is ambiguous; verify the current manufacturer declaration before using this as a definite panel or complete-door U-value. The specification’s R’w = 26 dB line is a panel reference; assess the proposed door configuration separately. The tongue-and-groove geometry establishes continuity between panels, while perimeter EPDM seals carry a flexibility value down to -30 °C. These are published technical values to be read with the offered configuration, not an automatic guarantee for every installed door.

The drive: selecting the motor and controller

The motor and controller are selected for the door’s dimensions, weight, balancing and operating profile. The industrial-door specification describes manual and powered operation, but does not establish a fixed SIRIUS 100/140 Nm and I-380 pairing for every installation. Check the chosen motor, controller, limit system and safety equipment against the current project documentation. Selecting the combination at quotation stage helps identify compatibility requirements before installation.

For whom, for what?
