Overview

Full Vision sectional doors are designed for bright interior environments in showrooms and stores, the advantages of aluminium panels in places where water is used such as car washes, and for the entry-exit of large vehicles, equipment + loads. With the combination of aluminium frame + plexiglass infill, uninterrupted indoor-outdoor visual communication is preserved; ideal solution for store displays, car galleries and service reception channels. The standard maximum size is 5,000 × 6,000 mm.

• 3 mm plexiglass infill — Clear (most transparent), frosted (semi-visibility + aesthetic), acrylic (light diffuser) options.
• Bottom panel recommendation — Sandwich panel (against impact + soiling; rubber residues in car wash). Plexiglass wears on the bottom panel, sandwich is preferred.
• Natural anodised — Standard finish; matte aluminium aesthetics.
• All RAL — Custom colour options with electrostatic powder coating.
• Cable break safety system — STANDARD on Full Vision (optional on garage/industrial); mandatory due to the risk of glass panels falling.

Sealing and water resistance

A seal system designed for car wash compatibility specific to Full Vision:

• Bottom seal — Special hollow rubber geometry; structure that fits into the bottom panel profile (water drainage + sealing together).
• Aluminium top + bottom seal profile — Corrosion-resistant.
• Special joint between panels + sponge seal — Moisture protection at glass panel edges.
• Side + top rubber exterior seal — –30 °C flexible.
• Models above 5,010 mm or with service door — Omega panel support plate for additional strength.

The recommended motor for Full Vision is the r-tec 10024 TCE-C: 380 V three-phase, 100 Nm torque, 24 cm/s opening speed. In premium applications, optional integration with the GIGA Sedo control unit (Sommer Antriebs OEM) with LCD menu + induction loop + traffic light.

• Plexiglass maintenance — May yellow over the years due to UV; panel replacement recommended every 10-15 years (aluminium frame is permanent).
