r-tec Single-Leaf Sliding Automatic Door
The single-leaf sliding automatic door is a compact solution preferred at narrow transit points, retail store entrances and low-traffic office circulation. It is offered together with the r-tec R2 control board; with the mode selector, it can be run as half-open or fully open according to the daily use scenario.

What passages is a single-leaf sliding automatic door suited to?
The single-leaf arrangement is designed for entrances where the passage width can be met by one leaf and pedestrian density is moderate: office side entrances, clinic waiting area passages, internal shop doors. The leaf is carried up to the 150 kg class and runs on a 230 V supply through a 100 W motor with the R2 control board. Where the passage width exceeds the wall length the single leaf can park against, a double leaf is needed; where the side wall allowance is insufficient, a telescopic arrangement. On a single leaf the whole panel gathers to one side, so the wall on that side must stay clear for the full leaf width.

Is an IP23 rating enough for use on an external door?
The mechanism data sheet states IP23. This rating alone does not validate direct rain exposure or the conditions of a particular facade. Assess the installation location, protection of the header housing and documentation for the selected model within the project.
