The Price Written on a Screen: A Number Stripped of Context

An online price often shows only part of an offer. Comparing a boxed motor with an installed working system hides the reason for the difference. First ask what each figure covers.
Compare the same scope
Model, boom or door size, controller, accessories, installation, commissioning, transport and tax may be separate items. A low price does not prove omissions; a high one does not prove good service. Compare when those items are visible.
Ask about stock, parts, support and warranty conditions too. They vary by seller and cannot be inferred from a brand name. Written service scope makes an offer easier to understand.
The date is information
Online figures can change, but screenshots or search results may remain. Date, validity and currency matter. Treating an older price as today’s offer creates confusion for both sides.
How we work
Alkur works B2B with dealers, distributors and project partners. We discuss price alongside requirements and scope. End users assess installation and service with their partner. Partners can request product information through our contact channel.
The useful conversation is about what is being purchased. Putting the same scope in two columns makes the meaning of the price clearer.
