Brochures, specifications and installation manuals serve different stages of a project. Sharing a folder does not make them answer the same question. Read the document library by product family, purpose and language to reduce the risk of taking the wrong file on site.
Which document serves which purpose?
- Specifications describe the offered configuration and scope.
- Dimensioning and pit drawings prepare construction and layout for the named model.
- Installation or controller manuals guide a competent team on the relevant model and revision.
- Catalogues and brochures introduce a family; they do not prove every option’s installation or performance.
- Certificate records are read by type: management system, test report, declaration, voluntary attestation and trademark registration establish different facts.
Match the file to the installed product
Record the product label, model and board revision first. Then check the file’s title, scope, date and language. An old-name manual does not apply to a renamed product simply because it looks similar. Ask the dealer or partner to confirm a model match.
Page and PDF languages are separate. Opening a Turkish file from an English page does not translate it. An archived record does not establish current-model validity either.
If a document is missing
Send the label and required scope to the partner instead of filling gaps by assumption. A special language or format request can be assessed; every format is not necessarily available. Technical documents, drawings and the quotation complement each other when addressing site conditions.
