r-tec Automation Portfolio — Integrated Solution Architecture Across Five Categories

Imagine the entrance of a commercial building: the main entrance door opens automatically for pedestrian access, a barrier at the car park entrance recognises a vehicle and rises, the garden gate slides to the side when pulled by remote control, a control panel in the technical room in the basement monitors all these systems from a single point, and an EV charger applies a smart charging programme.

The fact that all of these are products of a single brand means in practice — a single supplier, a single service team, a single spare-parts contract, a single certification file.

The r-tec brand is built on this view. In this piece we look at the five categories of r-tec — which we introduced in 2012 and positioned as 100% Turkish-made after 2015 — how it has turned into an integrated architecture around the G24 universal control board, and the certification infrastructure.

1. Automatic door — R2 family

The most common use in pedestrian access is the automatic door. Around the r-tec R2 control unit, we offer 4 different door types:

• Double-leaf sliding — shopping centre, bank branch, hospital main entrance
• Single-leaf sliding — compact internal access, office side corridor
• Telescopic — wide opening, deep transit; two folding panels
• Revolving — premium entrance, controlled air flow (plaza, hotel lobby)

The R2 control unit comes with a 100 W DC motor, 230 V or 24 V supply, IP23 protection class, 5-mode selector (automatic/manual/exit-locked/entry-locked/always open).

3 different chassis options are selected according to the usage environment:

• Standard — dry indoor area
• Telescopic — horizontal width constraint, narrow corridor
• Hermetic — cold storage entrance, pharmaceutical clean room (sealing + thermal shock insulation)

On the certification side it carries the TÜV AUSTRIA CE and Domestic Product 100% certificates.

2. Industrial and garage door motors

We offer 8 different motors according to the sector’s needs. Voltage class, torque and the inverter/direct drive preference are the selection criteria:

A note on the GIGA Sedo: the board bears the Sommer Antriebs- und Funktechnik GmbH label; this shows the partner-manufacturer to European quality standards status that resulted from the business relationship we established at the 2014 Stuttgart fair. With an LCD screen + two RS485 lines (RS485-1 + RS485-2), five hangar doors at a facility can be managed from a single central panel.

3. Gate automation — sliding and swing

Two main lines:

Sliding

From the 500 kg class to the 4,000 kg factory gate — KING, SL and Hatti series. Voltage options:

• 24 VDC battery-backed — KING 524F, SL 600F, COUPER 24 (the gate continues to operate during power outages)
• 220 VAC — KING 1000-2000, SL 500-1000 (common estate/residential solution)
• 380 V three-phase — KING 2500-4000 (industrial)

Swing

JET 24, COUPER 24, PRINCE 24 (24 V), SW2 (220 V). For classic double-leaf garden gates.

The entire range is compatible with the r-tec G24 universal control board. This significantly simplifies stock management on the dealer side; a single board operates with different motor types.

4. Barrier systems — Dinamix family

In 2017 we began the production of the r-tec DinamixBAR + Dinamix barrier; we expanded the family with the DinamixBar L 9000 in 2023. Three model series:

• Dinamix (standard, 4-7 m boom)
• DinamixBar (4 models + LED bar premium look)
• WM 3000 (wall-mount — for tight areas)

All are built on the same motor base: 230 VAC or 24 VDC, 190 W. The CE GAC-352/23 certificate (2023) applies to the entire series; this certification is only on the r-tec brand; documents belonging to previous-generation marks are out of scope.

5. EV charger — 2024 new layer

The electric vehicle charging solutions added to the product range in 2024 come with two models:

• WCU-22 Wallbox — 22 kW fixed wall-mount type (residential, plaza)
• WCU-11 Portable — 11 kW portable (backup charging, second residence)

The combination of barrier + entrance automation + EV charging point can be offered as an integrated entrance package in plaza, estate and villa projects.
