Eight Documents, One System: Our 2026 Certification File

Our certification file contains eight documents issued by Belcert on 30 June 2026. They do not, however, belong to the same technical or legal category. Reading the file accurately requires the issuer, referenced standard, document type, activity scope and document period to be considered together.
How are the eight documents classified?
- Four management-system certificates: ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for the environment, ISO 22301 for business continuity and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety. These are certificates issued by Belcert for the activity scopes and document periods printed in the files.
- Three supporting Belcert documents: records A1901028, A1901024 and A1901026 refer respectively to the ISO 10002:2018, ISO 26000 and ISO 31000:2018 guidance standards. They are not presented as ISO certificates or as certification of conformity to those guidance standards.
- One private certificate: the Respect for Nature Certificate is Belcert’s own private certificate; it is not an ISO standard.
ISO develops standards, but it does not certify organizations or issue certificates. Certificates are issued by independent certification bodies. Our publications therefore identify Belcert as the issuer instead of using the inaccurate expression “certified by ISO.”
The critical distinction for guidance standards
ISO 10002:2018 gives guidelines for complaints handling. ISO 26000:2010 provides guidance on social responsibility; ISO explicitly states that it is not a management-system standard and is not intended for certification. ISO 31000:2018 is likewise a risk-management guidance standard and is not certifiable.
Belcert’s PDF referring to ISO 26000 prints “ISO 26000:2021,” while ISO’s published and current record is ISO 26000:2010. Because of this edition discrepancy, the record is published under its own title and scope as a Belcert supporting document, not as evidence of ISO conformity.
What changes for our customers?
This file is not, by itself, evidence of product-specific performance classes, CE conformity, tender eligibility or the effectiveness of every operational practice. The management-system certificates apply only within the activity scope and document period printed in each PDF; the supporting documents do not become certifiable ISO management-system certificates.
For a supplier assessment, the reliable review sequence is:
- Check the document type and issuing organization.
- Compare the standard number and edition with ISO’s official record.
- Confirm that the activity scope relates to the product or service being purchased.
- Read the issue and expiry dates together with the continuation conditions printed in the PDF.

How will currency be maintained?
The published PDFs carry issue dates of 30 June 2026 and expiry dates of 30 June 2027. The date range alone is not sufficient: each record remains subject to its own scope and the continuation conditions printed in the document. Site records will be updated together with the relevant PDF and date fields when a new document, scope change or expiry occurs.
