Behind the Fair Stand — Notes from Eurasia Door Fair 2025

Last week we were at Tüyap. Held for the 17th time on 15-18 November, Eurasia Door Fair was the sector’s meeting point for four days; we gathered all the product families under the ALKUR umbrella on a single stand. The stand photos are in the gallery — this post is about the part the photos don’t show.
Carrying working products
The hardest promise of a fair stand is this: “The product will be exhibited in working condition.” A sandwich panel sample travels easily; but a working high-speed PVC door — with its own frame, curtain, motor and control unit — is a small installation project. This year we set up the ALKUR HPVC folding door as a working sample; a visitor pressing the button and watching it open with their own eyes achieves in four seconds what no brochure can.
The same logic applied on the r-tec side: we routed the stand entrance through a real r-tec automatic door, and the barrier arm rose and fell all day. The control boards — I-380, FU, G24 — were displayed within arm’s reach rather than under glass, because the buyers of these products are technical teams, and they want to see the terminals up close.
Set-up: The fair before the fair
Stand construction is a quiet shift that starts days before the fair opens. Is the panel sample wall level, is the door frame anchored solidly, does the power line feed the working products — a checklist that runs until opening morning. Reassembling products that left Hendek at the fairground is a small rehearsal of our own dispatch discipline.
What does a fair earn us?
Not a sales figure; face-to-face conversation. Talks with the dealers, project firms and facility managers who stopped by over four days map real needs more sharply than a year of e-mail traffic. Even which question gets asked most often is data in itself: this year, panel surface options and barrier opening speeds dominated the conversations.
